About this instrument
The Pi-Jacques Thibaud series is crafted from imported spruce top and maple back, both naturally air-dried for more than 20 years, and fitted with a 3A-grade ebony fingerboard and imported, custom handmade accessories (made of jujube wood, ebony, and boxwood). The varnish is exclusively blended by master Beare Martin using imported Italian soft varnish, a process that takes about 60 days; this special varnish continues to evolve over time to enhance tonal quality. The violin's ever-changing hues make the entire instrument a true work of art, with its evolution shaped by each player's taste and playing style. This is truly one of the finest instruments for every performer and collector.
