This viola features a top crafted from 10-year air-dried spruce and a back of air-dried maple. The varnish is a hand-filtered soft varnish (a blend of resin flakes, alcohol, and imported soft varnish) that requires thirty days to complete. Each production cycle for this viola series takes two months, during which a single master craftsman can make at most 10 instruments. Beyond its flawless and distinctive appearance, the viola offers a rich, balanced tone and a harmonious, far-reaching projection, making it an excellent choice for orchestral musicians.
